Back in the Pod

Coming back to Eve Online is always fun for me after a break. I get reacquainted with the UI, check out the latest updates and adjust my training to adapt to the changes if needed. I talk to old friends I haven't been in touch with. It really can be a social game. I checked out the Captain Quarters to see how my Nvidia 780 can handle it. It is smooth like butter. I really like the Gallente Captain Quarters. Someday I will be able to leave that room.

Now that I am back in Eve Online I am going for something I really never got into and that is Missions.  Missions in Eve Online are defined as follows:

A "mission" is a one-time job offered by an NPC (called an "agent") to a player wherein the player must accomplish a set of objectives in exchange for a set of rewards. The reward for completing the mission is usually ISK and Loyalty Points. [source]
You acquire these Missions while docked in a Station from Agents. I suggest going through this Agent Guide. There are different types of Missions in Eve Online. Encounter, Mining, Courier, Trade, Storyline, and Epic Arc. If I missed any let me know.  Encounter Missions will be my planned focus. I used to be a full time miner which has been my only experience within Eve Online.  I plan to change that with my Drake after my skills are complete to allow me a decadent start. I like to travel and these missions are perfect to learn how to  use my Drake in combat. But what I am really after is ISK which is the bane of my existence within the Eve Universe.  Fly safe- Lateris
